Seahouses is on the B1340, 15 minutes from the A1. It takes roughly 1 hour to drive here from Newcastle, or 1.5 hours from Edinburgh.
If you’re travelling to Seahouses by road from Scotland or anywhere in the South. arrive via the A1. Those travelling from the Northeast, take the M6 to Carlisle, the A69 to Newcastle and the A1 for the final leg.

Approaching from the South
Just past the filling station turn right at roundabout and continue down Main Street. At the next roundabout take the 4th exit towards the Harbour. Down steep hill and Abaft Cottage is the first house on the right hand side of the road after the Harbour Master’s Office.
