The charging of electric vehicles from any points within the cottage is forbidden
A non-refundable deposit of £150 (or 10% whichever is the greater) is to be paid on booking.
A booking is only accepted once a cleared deposit has been received.
The balance is payable six weeks prior to commencement of the holiday and will include a refundable Good Housekeeping deposit of £125. Following a successful property inspection, the refund will be issued within 7 days.
If the holiday is booked within six weeks of arrival date full balance must be paid. If the balance is not paid by the due date we reserve the right to re-allocate the accommodation.
Bookings made within four weeks of your holiday date must be paid in full at the time of booking.
Cancellations must be made in writing.
Please note that booking a holiday is a legally binding commitment, you are advised to buy the relevant insurances to cover cancellation, illness cover and cover for your belongings whilst on holiday.
Abaft Cottage sleeps a maximum of four people only. This must not be exceeded in accordance with Health and Safety Regulations.
You are expected to treat all facilities and appliances with respect and to leave the cottage in the condition in which you found it, clean and tidy. Vacuums and cleaning materials are available for your use at the property.
One car parking space is allocated outside the cottage and we would ask you to respect that and park with due consideration for the general public and the Harbour Office Staff.
Please advise the owners of any breakages and damage as they must be paid for.
One well-behaved pet is welcome by arrangement. Animals must be kept under control at all times and not left in the cottage unaccompanied. Owners are expected to clean up after their pet immediately, both at the cottage and in the local area.
Abaft Cottage is available from 4:00pm on your arranged arrival date and you are required to vacate the property by 11.00am on your departure date.
The owners and their representatives reserve the right to terminate a letting where it is in the interests of safety, consideration of others, or where any of the above conditions have been ignored.
